Happy customer review: Sat at the bar, 2nd time with the exceptional bartender Jennifer and had breakfast. I’ve been here 4 times over the past year and when you see the young lady/ Jennifer working behind the bar, just know you won’t be disappointed. Your day will shine, your service expectations will blow your socks off and the food will probably even taste better! lol Thanks again, Jennifer! My family and I recently visited Alta Strada in Boston, and we had an unfortunate experience that I feel is worth sharing. While the ambiance of the restaurant was nice and the menu looked promising, we ran into a pretty big hiccup. We had brought along a small portion of chicken nuggets for our child, who can be a picky eater and sometimes just needs something familiar. Unfortunately, the staff told us that they don’t allow any outside food whatsoever, even for a child, and we ended up having to leave because our kiddo just wasn’t going to eat anything else. I understand restaurant policies about outside food, but I do think a little flexibility for a small child’s dietary needs would have gone a long way. So just a heads-up to families with picky eaters: you might want to check ahead or be prepared for that policy. It was disappointing, and we ended up having to dine elsewhere.
