This bar provides you with nice food and a place to rest after a long walk around Historic Scranton Iron Furnaces. The staff is cool that's what makes Alter Bar Scranton so good. Spectacular service is something guests agree upon here. You will certainly appreciate the lovely atmosphere. This place is rated on Google 4.8 by its clients.

Hayden & the team there are absolutely amazing. We were in town for the wknd and were referred to go to Alter for dinner and drinks.. unfortunately I made the reservation for the wrong day and they were booked.however they worked magic and was able to get us a table.. the drinks, the ambiance, and the food was fantastic. We order the adult lunchables aka charcuterie, cheesesteak and the clams. A must try for all 3. We were overly impressed by it all. Hayden is the owner and while most restaurants may have turned you, they accommodated. Truly classy! A must when your in downtown Scranton! Price per person: $60–70
