After a long, tired day, I found myself wandering the streets past 10 PM with nothing in my stomach and dwindling hope of finding anywhere still serving dinner. Most kitchens had already closed for the night, so when I spotted this little restaurant still glowing with warm light, I practically rushed inside without a second thought. What struck me first was how the owner welcomed me. Despite the late hour, there was no hint of impatience or rushed energy — just genuine warmth and hospitality. Dining alone can sometimes feel a little awkward, especially walking in unannounced so late, but the owner's attentive and considerate manner instantly put me at ease. It felt less like a transaction and more like being looked after by someone who genuinely enjoys having guests. And he uses English very fluent. Then came the food, and this is where the night truly turned magical. I started with the blue cheese risotto, and one bite in, I was completely won over — the creaminess balanced perfectly with the sharp, funky depth of the cheese. I liked it so much that I immediately ordered the lasagna as well, which turned out to be the restaurant's signature dish. Unlike the classic tomato-based lasagna you'd expect, this version carried the rich, savory-sweet essence of Japanese sukiyaki beef layered through it — an unexpected but masterful fusion of Western comfort food and Japanese flavor. It's easily one of the most creative and delicious fusion dishes I've had in a long time. The atmosphere added to the charm of the evening. At the table behind me, a group of three or four friends were celebrating a birthday, pairing their meal with wine and clearly having a wonderful time together. Watching them laugh and enjoy their pairing course made it clear that this restaurant isn't just a great spot for a quiet solo dinner — it's just as well-suited for groups looking to celebrate and linger over good food and wine. This restaurant has such a warm, sentimental energy to it — the kind of place that feels personal rather than polished or corporate. I'm already looking forward to going back, and I genuinely hope more people discover this place, because it absolutely deserves to thrive. If you find yourself nearby, whether you're dining solo or with a group, I can't recommend it enough. Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Do yourself a favour and try the lasagna. Fig butter is to die for and the humans creating magic in the kitchen are very kind and amicable. Would absolutely return. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
