We booked at the Landhotel Altes Zollhaus at short notice and were actually quite satisfied. The breakfast and dinner were really delicious. The staff very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a very special flair. There is something unique about the decor of the lobby, dining room and outdoor area. The point deduction is for the room. The bed was really uncomfortable and had far too few pillows. We really had back pain in the morning. We also had no internet connection and were essentially cut off from the outside world. The room somehow doesn't fit in with the rest of the hotel and had no flair at all. But everything was clean and tidy. We can still only recommend the hotel. Rooms: Our room was outdated with a very, very bad bed and far too few pillows. The internet connection is not available. But everything was clean and tidy. Nearby activities: Zollhausschanze, the town of Altenberg and hiking, hiking, hiking. :-) Food & drinks: There is a pizzeria with really delicious pizzas from the stone oven.
