This is the baker that fascinates me the most. From an economic point of view, this must be an absolute stroke of genius. Virtually their entire product range, apart from the root baguette and the pretzel rolls, are absolutely dry and tasteless. As a prime example, you have to try one of these rolls and then bite into a piece of cardboard that feels floury. The difference is surprisingly small. But now we come to the really exciting part: It has always been that way. So at least for 15 years. I have the feeling that either no one has dared to point out that they can't bake OR they don't care at all. In any case, you get much higher quality products at the M-Preis bakery than you do there. Can someone here who actually lives in the village explain to me how this came about? In summary, it can be said that the Althaler Bakery is not able to bake anything decent. Thank you for reading!
