You get to appreciate the little details: from the greeting once entering the restaurant, being seated, and accommodated with such outstanding service. This very quaint and authentic Italian cuisine has become my top favorite place to go. Thank you Nico and staff for the wonderful service and delicious food. You made us feel right at home. Truly a hidden gem in downtown Roslyn. The place feels inviting the minute you walk in. Simple yet elegant design elements fill the space. Nico, the owner and host of the night was attentive and told us the story how he gave up the financially rewarding career of law to followed his passion and opened this eatery. The food: We had the prociutto plate which was paired with sweet caramelized peppers and cheese. It was decadent. The sweetness of the pepper complimented the cured meat from Italy with perfection. We ordred the pork chop which was a huge serving good for 4 people, again cooked just the right temp and delicious. Out pasta choice was ravioli in pesto sauce- cooked al- dente with just the right amount of seasoning. The Gnocchi with shrimps was my favorite, not heavy again just the right amount of savoriness. You can tell the staffs puts their heart and soul into in every bite. Overall a wonderful dining experience and we will be coming back real soon! I'be dined at Alto in Roslyn several times and the food and service are always consistently exceptional. From the moment I walk in, I am welcomed and can sense the passion the owner and chef have for quality ingredients, authentic Italian cuisine and the extraordinary care that goes into every dish. The owner personally greets guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes me feel as though I'm dining in an elegant Italian home rather than a restaurant. The homemade pasta is absolutely outstanding - fresh, delicate, and perfectly prepared with incredible flavor and texture. The leafy greens and fig salad absolutely explodes with flavor and perfectly reflects the restaurant's creativity and commitment to freshness The Mediterranean branzino was quite simply the best branzino I've ever eaten. Every dish is beautifully presented and prepared with exceptional attention to detail. What truly sets Alto apart is the genuine hospitality, consistency, and pride behind the entire dining experience. It's rare to find a restaurant where both the cuisine and service are this exceptional every single time. Five-star dining at its finest. Highly recommend!
