As longtime World of Hyatt members, we were extremely disappointed with our recent three-night stay at Alua Leo Hotel in Palma de Mallorca. Upon arrival, we discovered that the air conditioning was not working throughout the property. Our room was approximately 85°F, and after checking multiple alternative rooms, we found that all had the same issue. We spent a significant portion of our first day trying to find a solution instead of enjoying our vacation. A functioning air conditioning system is a basic necessity, especially during the summer in Mallorca. What was most frustrating was that guests were still being checked in despite management being aware of the problem. Had we been informed before arrival, we could have made other arrangements. The excessive heat made it difficult to rest and enjoy our stay, and it significantly impacted our limited time on the island. As loyal World of Hyatt members, we expected better communication and guest care. We would appreciate your review of this situation and consideration of appropriate compensation.
