Great atmosphere, I didn't want to leave the place. However, one of my friends was bursting to get to Colemans fish palace...which is overrated and a massive disappointment for me. Ian Watson Price per person: £10–20 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

the alum ale house is one of the best pubs in the area, excellent choice of real ales and really friendly staff. looking forward to visiting again soon.
