It's a far left Communist bar which attracts Romanisti who drink craft beer. Is any of this interesting? Not really. Having said that, the owners are polite and the beers they serve (in small glasses) quite ok. I have seen a fair few bands @Alvarado (Street), all vaguely alternative. I would describe the people who drink here often as "ideological tourists". They spend their entire lives in the suburbs of south Rome dreaming about Cuba. None of them have ever lived in Russia, Ukraine, or a post-Soviet country. Have any of them even visited one? Doubtful. Go for the beer, maybe a band. That's all.
