Not fancy at all, but unique, cozy, welcoming, and tasty. The owner and regulars were incredibly friendly. This tucked away cafe down the road from Hitoyoshi station is probably a must-visit for those doing an anime or Natsume's Book of Friends pilgrimage. She's got an impressive collection of merchandise, and the shop is incredibly cosy. I had the baked curry, handmade cheesecake, and tea on separate occasions. All were delicious, despite the lack of bells and whistles. This is the place to go in town for a cozy home-style meal, mostly Youkoso style dishes with plenty of options.
