Housed in an old bank building, Amapola the wine and cocktail bat that Crediton never knew it needed. Run by the same team that run the exceptional off license a few doors further up the road, Amapola offers a diverse range of brilliantly curated very high quality wines, beers and other tempting beverages. Theres a food offer to keep you from passing out with hunger but its not the star of the show - the focus is on the drinks. Service is always friendly and always knowledgeable- tell them what sort of thing you think you'd like to drink and they'll find the wine to fit your craving. Nothing makes me feel better about finishing work on and friday and heading into the weekend than a handful of almonds and a negroni at Amapola.
