We decided to try Amber Raj, as we heard it was a new restaurant in town. We ate in the restaurant and first impressions were good. We ordered lamb jalfrezi and shahee shalizi with peas pilau and plain naan bread. The food was really good, full of flavour, decent portion size and felt healthy. The wine was nice too. Very reasonable prices. The owner was friendly and the staff were attentive and polite. We would certainly recommend this restaurant and hope to try it again soon. Just ate here earlier with the broski! The food is absolutely on point!! Staff was very hospitable, very attentive! Got some free onion bajis, who doesn't like free stuff, side note (I dont even like onions) ate the lot an it was delicious!!!! Main was a chicken tikka balti, ive had a few baltis in my time, this was easily top 5 if not top 3! Fresh, tasty just the right level of spice. This maybe the best restaurant in runcorn, cant Fault anything! Well done boys, nailed it!
