This restaurant and Vern Hart Fishing Park can be both really attractive for tourists. Indian cuisine under the direction of the popular chef is wonderful at this place. Ambrosia India Bistro boasts perfectly cooked cheese naans, butter chicken and lamb curry. Tasty quinoa pudding, yogurt and ice cream have a pleasant taste. If you like house wine, order it at this place, it's delicious here. A selection of good mango lassi, tea or lemonade is recommended to guests.
Invite your friends to this spot with a cosy atmosphere. Most visitors state that the staff is appealing. Service at this restaurant is something one can call terrific. We ordered Ambrosia Indian thru Door Dash. The food was ready for the dasher when he arrived, on time. The driver got it to us quickly which was also nice, but unrelated. Now to the important part, the food. The buttered Naan was really nicely toasted and had a flavor that was amazing. The Aloo Gobi was different than others I've tried in the past, but that made it uniquely theirs. The mix of veggies was perfect and the flavor was on point. Really, really good. The butter chicken had a very nice kick to it. (Ordered Medium spice). Excellent flavor and again, slightly different, but amazing. The coconut lamb curry is also amazing, and very tender. We started off our meal with the Vegetable Biryani, also medium spice. It was extremely moist and had more vegetables than our typical spot, which is a huge plus for "vegetable" rice. Overall 10/10. Would totally hit this spot up again if we come back to town. And yes, for those who happen to notice, we did in fact, order DoorDash while we are camping. It rained, I was sad and needed a pick me up for our 24th Anniversary trip.

Below par food for indian food standards. Went here for dinner after santacruz beach stroll. Appetizers - okay. Mango/ sweet lassi - good. Chicken mains are bummer- chewy chicken and okay'ish gravy. Reat veg mains are decent but below par for indian food standards. But hey if you are craving indian food out here near Scott's valley you got pretty limited options and you have to settle with what you get :
