Walking near Chuvit Garden, visit this restaurant. Visit American Bar & Grill for a break and order perfectly cooked rolls, steaks and chicken. It might be nice to try delicious coffee.

THE WORST AMERICAN RESTAURANT IN BANGKOK. I went into the American Bar & Grill, for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Let me tell you, that after the meal, I knew that something was wrong with all the five-star reviews found here on this site, as well as TA, and that this IS the worst restaurant in Bangkok. Albums and kids-posters on the wall...is the owner an 11 year old? The service, food quality and general experience were all bad, and OMG overpriced - $24 for a tiny burger, chicken wings and a couple of Coke Zero cans. So, questioning the validity of wow factor found on the internet, I then went back on-line and looked carefully at the writing style and pics in the wow reviews, and found a review on TA - page 13 of the 15 pages of reviews, and that write up called "don't believe all the five star reviews" was on target. Look it up for yourself. Anyway, take the example from the Thais...If the restaurant if really busy, wait in line and try it, it will be good. This American Bar and Grill is and always will be empty, because people are scammed into trying it by the owner's gaming of on-line guidance sites (like this one), but never return because people are not stupid.
