visited Amici’s in Perry, Georgia for the first time on Saturday, April 25th, around 4 p.m., and had an awesome experience from start to finish. I had been to the Macon location before, but this was my first time at the Perry restaurant, and I was honestly impressed as soon as I walked in. Everything was clean, nice, and welcoming. The host seated us quickly and was very friendly, and our waitress, Darcy, did a phenomenal job. She was super friendly, attentive, and had perfect timing with checking on us, refilling drinks, and making sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed or forgotten. It was also the first time there for my girlfriend, her daughter, and my coworker, so all four of us were experiencing the Perry location for the first time. Darcy really helped make that first visit feel unique, memorable, and one of a kind — and I don’t even think she knew it was our first time, which makes it even more impressive. Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent service. Darcy deserves a shoutout for making the experience amazing. We’ll definitely be back. P.S After a few beers she asked me if I remembered her name. I correctly said Darcy and she looked shocked. I told her I’d leave her a review. It’s now the 29th of April and I am almost certain she thinks I’ve forgotten her. Well this one’s for you Darcy. I’m gone but you are not forgotten! Keep up the great work! I was craving a Philly cheesesteak I usually go to American Deli. But I decided to try Amici Philly cheesesteak instead. Well not a good idea it was horrible. I’ve never heard of a Garlic Philly because that’s what they should call it. The staff needs to let people know that they drench their Phillys with Garlic because not everyone likes garlic all in their sandwich. I definitely won’t be eating a Philly from Amici every again.
