This isn’t my first time at Amimoto, as it’s one of the few places in Kuwait that serves genuinely authentic Japanese food. I’ve tried about 90% of the menu, and overall it’s above average compared to other Japanese restaurants in Kuwait. As for the sushi, I haven’t tried it yet, so I can’t comment on it. However, the sushi chef is Japanese, so I’m confident the sushi is fresh and well prepared. Unfortunately, he only supervises some of the dishes, which is why the quality can vary from visit to visit. Yes, I highly recommend Amimoto if you’re looking for authentic Japanese food in Kuwait.
