Amore, located in Montgomery, Texas, is a fine dining spot that specializes in Italian cuisine. The establishment boasts a beautiful ambiance with elegant interior design that transports diners to a cozy corner of Italy. With prices that are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, Amore offers a great value for those looking for an upscale dining experience.
One of the standout features of Amore is their outdoor seating area overlooking Lake Conroe, which provides a picturesque setting for a romantic dinner or special occasion. The restaurant also has a well-stocked bar with a variety of cocktails, soft drinks, and wines to choose from.
For appetizers, the Mediterranean oysters and spinach artichoke dip are highly recommended. For entrees, the chicken Marsala and linguine seafood are delicious options. The peppercorn steak and veal Vincent are also popular among diners. Those with a sweet tooth will not want to miss the Italian coconut cream cake or key lime pie for dessert.
The service at Amore is exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Overall, Amore is a top choice for those seeking high-quality Italian cuisine in a beautiful setting.
This was the worst experience my husband and I have ever had. What was once fine dining (we had our wedding reception here a year ago) has turned into the mentality of a chain restaurant. We dined here 4/27/2023 the service is slow and uneventful. There was no wine by the glass on the menu and was told they ran out and would not receive more until the next day. When asked if we could get a discount on a bottle of wine, due to their inventory issues, we were told no. This restaurant has turned into the feel of a chain restaurant. The food has turned to mediocrity. My suggestion is to go to Viva Emilia in the Woodlands it's not far from Amore and the service is white glove, you feel cared for and that they actually want you to have a fine dining experience. The food at Viva Emilia is Northern Italian and incredible. The pricing is comparable, and the menu is much more interesting, and they don't run out of wines. So disappointed with Amore oh and they are always short staffed these days. The hostess which reminded us of an Asian whore the way she was dressed, her loud voice and unprofessionalism was assigned as our waitress to which she had no clue how to deliver a fine dining experience was pitiful. Thankfully she recognized her inabilities, and we were given another waitress. Do not waste you dining experience or money here. Go to Viva Emilia in the Woodlands and get an awesome experience with a similar price point. Charles and Diana Roach
Visited this wonderful place again for our 40th Anniversary.
It was again , wonderful! The staff is incredible, the owners are
caring, good people, the ambiance is perfect and the food never
fails. We requested to be seated in the bar area this time and it was loads of fun. Grace and Tyler were magnificent hosts.
Just another great evening at Amore!
