Lovely evening at Amore in St Peter, first visit and pleasantly surprised. Friends had been and recommended the restaurant, although they said it was noisy when they dined, however, we dined in the lower section and noise levels were fine. Good honest Italian cooking with generous portions, we all really enjoyed our mains or Chicken Risotto, Prawn Linguine and Penne Gluten Free Pasta. We had the ice creams for desert and one Banoffi pie which was made on the premises and worth the calories! Food took a little bit long to arrive but staff explained they were down a member. This did not take away from the delicious food and friendly staff. This is not a fine dining experience but good honest, flavourful Italian cooking and we plan to go back soon.
