Had an amazing icecream experience at Amorino at York, UK, while visiting from Toronto. Mr. Masood is super friendly who let me taste multiple flavor before choosing the ones I wanted to buy. Anyone who wants to beat this summer's heat should definitely try it. Amazing ambience and very well designed icecream parlor. Highly recommended for visitors.

The ordering screen didn't work properly, after repeat attempts (and no attention from the staff) I had to abandon and ask for help - the staff member advised to use another screen. Then I had to wait for around 10 min or so to get 2 cones of ice cream - the shop was not busy at all, the staff was slow and the guy preparing our ice cream held the cone in his hand while cleaning the surfaces with sponges in his hand and washing something in the sink at the same time! I didn't eat the cone - our dog likes to eat them and he had not much of concern about the hygiene this time . The ice cream was not exciting as well - was soft, started melting straight away and left sticky hands with sugary and even somewhat powdery aftertaste. Not great experience for 13 quid for 2 cones...

Very very disappointed we came yesterday me and my husband and ordered the waffle stick that comes with one scoop of gelato waffle sticks whipped cream your choice of ice-cream flavor sauce and macaroon .. the worker who made our order put literally less than half a scoop of gelato so the whole thing was basically waffle and cream the problem is we haven’t noticed until we left the shop!!!! He basically hid the spit of gelato he put by putting a mountain of cream! And it was very expensive we paid around 10 pounds for this!!! Very very dissatisfied with this and I will never come back again!! We felt like being ripped off We went to the YORK branch
