This is a fantastic place to go for a special curated wine tasting experience. The owners are very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The space is absolutely beautiful and the small group tastings are really cool. They also make sure to go to all of the wineries to meet the makers and personally select all of their wines that they have on for tasting. If you are anywhere near here you should definitely stop in.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Ampelos with the two owners Gordon and Gabe. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND for anyone looking to have a lovely afternoon tasting Washington State wine. the tasting room is beautiful and the company is a delight and very knowledgeable. I will definitely be returning!

Gordon and Gabe created a FANTASTIC tasting for my BF and I. We had originally met them at a wine event in Benton City (close to where my BF and I live) and when we decided to do a Girls Weeked in Seattle, making an appointment at Ampelos was at the top of our list of things to do. The intimate tasting room, the personalization of preferred wine styles, the warmth and hospitality puts this place in a class all it's own. Living in Eastern WA, we were introduced to 5-6 wineries in our local area that we had never tried (or in some cases, ever heard of!) and not one disappointed! Gordon and Gabe know their wines, and their recommendations and knowledge of what each winery has to offer in terms of outdoor seating, venue atmosphere, and styles and types of wine made for quite a list of "Must Go Check-Out" wineries list for us. If you are in the Seattle area and want an intimate, personalized experience showcasing some of Washington's best wines, make an appointment now! Plus, Mozart the Tasting Room pup is too adorable not to fall in love with! (And for those allergic to dogs, He's a Havanese, ie, hypoallergenic!)
