Unfortunately, the experience I had with my mother at the "Amsterdam Work Café" was disappointing. Even though they delivered the natural juice shortly after ordering, the wait to receive some crepes was exasperating; It took them more than 40 minutes to get to the table, so we decided to pay for what was served to leave the place, but the lack of attention at the cashier when paying was also a problem. When we tried to settle the bill, we were surprised that there was no staff. We had to wait for someone to show up to complete the payment, which further prolonged an already frustrating experience. After a few minutes the person who served us with the crepes appeared. I explained that we would no longer be able to enjoy them because we had to go to work, pointing out that we had waited over 40 minutes for an order that did not arrive on time. Still, the answer he gave us was disconcerting; He stated that he could not keep the dishes, especially if they were already served. Despite insisting on the long wait and lack of consideration for our time, he offered no solution. So to avoid more problems I had to offer the possibility of taking the crepes, but the situation got worse. When we finally found a moment to savor the crepes during the afternoon, we discovered to our surprise that they had been wrapped in paper, which adhered firmly to the food. Separating the paper was so difficult that several crepes ended up breaking, completely ruining the experience. It is disappointing to encounter this type of situation, especially when the place was not full and the delay did not seem justified. I was expecting a much more positive experience at "Amsterdam Work Café", but unfortunately, this is far from my expectations. Food: 1 Service: 1
