Thursday 6pm. After a lovely swim in a pleasant environment I order a beer and meze. How things have changed for the worse in Greece compared to years past. Apart from a gruff young waiter, I tried to enjoy the scenery with pathetic chicken nuggets, slithers of pork, an unevenly cut cherry tomato and frozen French fries accompanied by a sad looking paprika coloured mayonnaise. Oh! And a warm Amstel.
