After a walk around Senoptium, many visitors stop by this restaurant. Vietnamese cuisine is offered at Ăn Viet. I’ve been here a couple of times for Vietnamese food and it’s always been a good experience. I’m not an expert in Vietnamese cuisine, but the dishes here are really tasty and full of that Southeast Asian flavour. I like their no-waste concept where you can choose how much rice or noodles you want — it’s a nice touch and helps avoid food waste. The lemongrass chicken is my favourite. It’s super flavourful, nicely grilled, and goes really well with the rice, soup, and small side dishes that come with the set. Over time, I’ve also noticed that they’ve added new items to the menu, which is great because it gives customers more choices. I’m actually looking forward to trying the wagyu set on my next visit. They even have their own app where customers can collect points and redeem rewards, although I haven’t really explored that yet. Overall, it’s one of the nicer small eateries in Gurney Plaza and a solid spot if you’re craving Vietnamese food.
