Nestled in a residential area on Shimizu, Anan offers a glimpse into a traditional dining experience reminiscent of an old-style Nagoya coffee house. Although not widely listed on popular restaurant directories, it does maintain a minimal presence on Google. The restaurant is known primarily for its breakfast and lunch options, along with its highly appreciated coffee. A local favorite among solo diners, Anan seems to transport its visitors to a bygone era, where classic touches abound in its modest setup.
With limited service options, you can enjoy dine-in or takeaway, but delivery is not available. Regular patrons often describe the atmosphere as both warm and homey, largely thanks to the charming service provided by its seasoned hosts. Despite an entrance that's slightly hard to spot for first-timers, the interior presents an inviting environment that encourages relaxation. Guests frequently mention a homely flavor in the dishes served, giving the impression of a meal you'd savor at a grandmother's table.
Frequent visitors note that the menu features a changing daily lunch special, ensuring a quick and straightforward dining experience. Equipped with basic amenities like a toilet, the restaurant only accepts cash payments. Open from Tuesday to Saturday, Anan operates from late morning until the early evening. With no recent updates from the owner, some details may be limited, such as wheelchair accessibility or current offerings. Yet, local patrons continue to appreciate its dependable charm and reasonable pricing.

Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
