When I was there this place felt idyllic , sitting outside looking over the cricket field the beer garden was large well spaced out and comfortable The real ale was good. My first time having this one and friendly service The second time I went back, there was a cricket game on, even better! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £1–10 Parking space: Plenty of parking

We had a visit to Tintern to climb to the Devils pulpit stunning views a beautiful village and The Anchor Inn is great I had Lasagne it was lovely. We parked our car at the inn parking was 5 pound all day but you also had 5 pound off food and beverages when you took your receipt in you had a double receipt. Great value would call in again if I was in area. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Had ants in my pepsi, not like 1 or 2, more like 5-6…. Took the drink back in and the bartender wasn’t even phased just said was it a regular pepsi and poured me another (bug free this time). Had the ploughman's board, didnt expect a side of hair in my coleslaw. Side note, manager was very apologetic, and offered a full refund, and overall service was lovely. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: £10–20
