Family from NY, California and Butler converged here for a table of 6. Despite assurances on the website, the menu was quite limited and had zero vegetarian options. I politely asked the waitress if they could do something, and after consulting with kitchen, their big suggestion was a plate of mashed potatoes and green beans. Right. That's what vegetarians eat. After the rest of the party expressed disappointment that the menu was far more limited than advertised, we left.

I was super skeptical about Andora, as i was invited for a retirement party. That is to say, as a gluten free individual, the lack of input in restaurant selection is sometimes intimidating. The restaurant was excellent and I was able to eat a filet mignon with veggies. At the end of the meal they even brought out a wonderful chocolate cake/torte thing. It was wonderful, gluten free and made everyone at the table jealous. The wait staff was courteous, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to let me know that they were really going to make sure that no contamination would occur. I really appreciated the effort and would definitely come back, even if it is a bit far from Pittsburgh. Maybe I'll have to consider this place for my next date night! Also, they have a backroom which makes it pretty ideal for group events.
