We enjoyed friendly service here even though they could not find our reservation (which we booked directly with them). The bistro was very busy yet we were served with friendly and helpful staff. We had chef’s famous mosaic starter with mullet and foie gras, and a lovely sea bream main which delicate and delightful in every bite. We chatted with the sommelier who lead us through a few lovely wines, and even had us try one of the big bottles which they were opening. I was pleased and impressed with the friendliness of the team during such a peak meal time and we enjoyed ourselves immensely and hope to come again soon.

We had a great time at Bistrot André, a charming address in Valence. The atmosphere is both warm and elegant. The service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive. As soon as we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of with great kindness. As for the food, everything was absolutely delicious. The dishes are prepared with fresh, quality products, enhanced by original but perfectly mastered flavor combinations. The wine list is very well thought out, with plenty of choice and suggestions in perfect harmony with the dishes. Small downside, for me the price of the wines is a little too expensive. In summary, Bistrot André is an essential address for lovers of good cuisine with a reasonable menu price and good value for money.
