We got takeaway from here the other day and don’t understand why it’s doesn’t have better reviews. The food was great the service was great the 3 girls in the shop were very friendly I was told it would be a 10 minute wait for my food and they had it ready in 8. The Fish was fresh the calamari was fresh and so was the prawns the chips were really good. We had takeaway at Fish by Moonlight two days prior and I think the have the reviews mixed up Anglesea Fish and Chips is the place to go when in Anglesea. Don’t waste your money at the over priced and poor quality food at Fish by Moonlight. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–20

Very disappointing. For the last 6 years we looked forward to having fish and chips monthly from here, but not sure what has happened recently, but standard has deteriorated dramatically. Potato Cakes over cooked, fish over cooked, scallops over cooked. Very disappointed!
Will look at alternate fish and chip shops in future.
