Had a family afternoon tea here yesterday and it was excellent. Age range 3-67 and all enjoyed it! Food was delicious, service excellent and at no point did we feel rushed, so gave us time to catch up as we were a group of 11. Throughly recommend it, and will definitely book again soon as the first thing my grandchildren said on leaving was ‘when can we go again’ . Came here Saturday evening with my girlfriend, I had the set 3 course menu and she had off the normal and it was amazing food! Our starter arrived quickly and was delicious and our mains arrived just as quickly! I had the ham, egg and chips and my girlfriend ordered the steak medium rare! Being a chef myself the steak was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious and my girlfriend really enjoyed it! She is really fussy with steaks but this is the best steak she has ever had and I have to agree with her on that! My ham hock was also gorgeous! I would absolutely recommend Anglo to anyone, family, friends! The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is just so nice! Will definitely be back!!
