We had the ceviche and the milanesa. The ceviche was good but too sour acidic. The milanesa (beef) was completely raw, which was quickly replaced by the waiter for another chicken milanesa that also was questionable in terms of meat quality (an off taste). The waiters were proactive and kind and the terrace is quaint. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Our first meal in Montevideo did not disappoint, we loved Angosto! It's a cute little neighborhood restaurant, very lively and full which was a good sign. There did not appear to be any outside tables available, but Viola! One appeared for us. It was the best Caesar salad I have ever had, and so much I had to box it. What a great place, great service and great food, we will be back! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1,200–1,400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
