This is one of the most important food venues I’ve known. Being a neighborhood resident of Barrio Anita for years and getting to know the family that runs this establishment is just a cherry on top for a phenomenal meal. It’s a cultural beacon and a social staple, definitely worthy of loyal patronage and visitors. Try their empanadas and the breakfast tamales for an excellent meal. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The best tortillas anywhere! Everything made from scratch. Burros & (especially) burritos are big fat & delicious. The patio, with it's creative murals is a treat & a great place to sit & eat. Unfortunately they have had a very hard time since covid and now are in need of help. If you've ever eaten there, you know how good it is and what goes into their wonderful food - can you please help? A GoFundMe has been set up for them, please help them survive - it is so worth it! Go to GoFundMe search and type in Anita Street Market. Thank you so very much. It would be such a shame to lose this delicious, local, neighborhood spot.
