Antelope Valley Winery

Hi Erika, What you should let everyone know about your review is that you and your friend didn't come inside the Winery but just parked and went into the park area that is reserved for our customers to do wine tasting.  At this time with COVID-19 restrictions wine tastings are required to be outside in our park area and we have to monitor and sanitize the area and serve the wine tastings to our customers outside.  Advance reservations are required by the health department as well. So I had two couples outside in the park wine tasting and when I went to check on them I saw two people that had not checked in and purchased a wine tasting for us to take out to the park for them, namely you and your friend.  Your friend was also smoking in the park which we don't allow.  The reason I asked if you were a wine club member is you looked familiar but I couldn't place your face right then.  You and your family have helped us at the Winery for many years.  Why didn't you come inside and say hello to me and ask if you and your friend could sit in the park for awhile?  I could have made an exception even though the park is for customers who have purchased wine tastings.  As long as you had checked in with me first I would be in compliance with health department COVID-19 monitoring restrictions.
