What a pity! The restaurant looks good, well-kept, evocative of the past. We were off to a very good start with the starter. The cured meats and fried gnocco were very good. The dumpling is very small in size for my taste, but mouth-friendly, therefore good. The gardener is also very good. Then came the encore of first courses. The one with the radicchio was good, but the anolini...bad, bad. The broth was salty, very light, and the anolino perhaps even saltier than the broth. Let's move on to the second. Meat with polenta. The pepper must have spilled, because it was the only flavor left in your mouth. The polenta compensated a little, but not enough. Desserts without infamy and without praise. Sbrisolona cake which was accompanied with a cream, and normal chocolate salami. It's a real shame, the conditions for an excellent dinner were all there. Amazing service, very friendly & effortlessly switched to English as Italian was not our first language. Delicious pasta, the best tortelli we've ever had & very reasonable prices.
