Other than the loud, rude American couple seated two tables away from us, our evening at Antico Carbone was delightful. The two of us shared a buffalo caprese salad and grilled vegetables (eggplant, red and yellow peppers, and zucchini). The local olive oil as an accompaniment was delicious. I will miss the authentic Italian (a little spucy!) olive oil. I had oxtail stew and it was amazing! It was tasty, tender, and had been cooked to perfection. My husband has spaghetti carbonate. All the pasta is in-house, homemade, which he says was good. I can imagine, if we travel to Rome again, we'd find our way back to Antico Carbone.
