I’m sorry to write this, but the owner is the guy with less swing that I met in Japan. A Jazz coffee with that vibe?? The music was good one or two songs, but then seemed like we were in a shopping mall. Really disappointed to do a big travel and a city movement to arrive there and find this cold and impersonal feeling. Jazz is something serious and special, man! Be blessed, be grateful. By the way, the enormous Sonny Rollins passed few days ago

Probably Nagoya’s finest jazz cafe. It’s beautiful, very spacious, with excellent music outside the usual standards. The menu is also larger than a standard jazz cafe and is reasonably priced. The tea and cake pictured was ¥1100; about whatever you pay at any normal (non jazz) cafe. Nagoya has some other fantastic jazz cafes (Tea for two, バリレヤ, and Yuri are all good examples), but Aoneko may be the best. It’s also probably the easiest to enjoy for someone new to jazz cafes.
