Unbelievable. Authentic Italian cuisine. Huge portions. Quality ingredients. Drinks were also great. 10/10 We will definitely be back for more. Kid-friendliness: Environment was kid friendly. No echo. The place was completely full, but we could all hear each other without having to yell. Wheelchair accessibility: A small bump to enter and a little tight, but accessible. There are few restaurants that can provide an experience that is unique and fulfilling, and Apizza! does not disappoint. Do not let the limited menu and austere space deceive you — this is a world-class Italian restaurant. Everything is made from scratch: from the homemade caeser dressing to the rustic wood fire oven baked bread, everything is of the highest quality and full of flavor. Our meal started with homemade bread and extra virgin olive oil with fresh olives for taste and garnish. The bread is fluffy and light with a crispy oven crust with some light charring. From there I ordered the house red, which was a light bodied red similar to a Chianti but not as dry. Full palette of flavour and notes of blackberry and tart cherry. The pasta is made to order and moist and just al dente. Classic marinara, coupled with homemade beef meatballs, and garnished with organic ricotta, this was the best pasta I have had outside of cooking for myself. You may wait for a table, and you may sit at a chincey generic four-top table covered in economy linens and butchers paper, but the food is an experience. It's a love affair with Italian cuisine with a personal touch. In the middle of nowhere New York, this is a pleasant and most welcomed surprise. Everything on the menu is made to order. Fresh ingredients. Full of flavour. Wait. Order wine. Slow down. Enjoy your company. Eat well. This restaurant is for dining — so slow down, dine, and enjoy this life we have been blessed with.
