Went to Apple Valley Kitchen yesterday after my graduation on May 22nd and overall had a good experience. The staff was friendly and the food was good once it was corrected. My original plate came out wrong and had to be redone, and I was still charged for the first incorrect plate, which was a little frustrating. Besides that, the atmosphere was nice and the corrected meal tasted great. I’d still come back again, but I hope they improve how they handle order mistakes in the future. Meal type: Dinner

We tried to go here on Memorial Day, although they were only 50% full, they apparently did not have enough staff to service the customers. As we were walking in another group walked out and said “don’t even try it, we waited 20 minutes and they wouldn’t even seat us”. We went ahead and tried it, waited in the lobby 20 minutes and gave up and went to another restaurant down the street. The food here is OK l, we have been here a few times but they don’t run a good business. I believe they also are associated with La Cocina New Mexico restaurant down the street which is the restaurant we tried next. I say this because not only does La Cocina NM have a sign about the Apple Valley restaurant being open and their hours in their parking lot, the same people that walked out on Apple Valley, and warned us about the wait, were sitting next to us at this restaurant which has equally horrible service. They seemed to know the owners and said that the owner owns both restaurants. In any case, there are plenty of other places to eat at in Española, not worth trying this one. I was disappointed by my food. Flourishing were mostly potatoes. The waitress was very good though. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Parking space: Plenty of parking
