Man don’t come here. It took them 35 mins to make a salad. So disappointed, the little short manager is unprofessional. His customer service skills are not up to par. I had to cancel the order cause I waited so long. Plain ridiculous.

My experience at Applebee’s in Duncanville was absolutely terrible. When we arrived, the manager greeted us and seated us, but we sat there for nearly 20 minutes without receiving any service. We called the manager over multiple times, and the first two times he completely ignored us. When he finally acknowledged us, he repeatedly said, “She’s going to help you,” without telling us who “she” was, and no one ever came. The waitress who was supposed to assist us was rude and seemed unwilling to serve us. To make matters worse, the AC was broken, there was water all over the floor, and the overall atmosphere was uncomfortable. The situation became even worse when security guard C. Williams tried to make us pay for a tab that we had nothing to do with. We were there long after the group in question and barely knew them. We ended up having to call the police, and when they arrived, C. Williams denied ever telling us we had to pay, despite clearly saying exactly that. The manager did nothing to properly handle the situation or compensate us for the awful experience. The only bright spot was our waiter, Trey, who was helpful and professional. Overall, the entire experience was degrading, frustrating, and completely unacceptable. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I've come to this location a few times since moving to the neighborhood almost 2 months ago. I have to say, everytime I've come in, the staff is super friendly and upbeat and you can tell they enjoy the staff they work with. Tonight I have to give a shout out to Janae that was working ToGo. I'm a server at On the Border. I know tips are key to our survival in the food chain (full pun intended!). Unfortunately, the card that my tips get deposited on screwed up and would only allow me to pay for my did, not tip. I figured....OK, maybe by the time my order is ready the rest of the funds that I'm supposed to still have will clear and I can go to the ATM and get cash to tip. 45 minutes and my funds are still on hold...... so I asked Ms. Janae when she works again so I could tip her as she should be appreciated. She smiled, told me Thursday. I asked day or night. She said night. I told her I'd come back Thursday night. My point.....despite the fact that she saw there was no tip on the order, she still made sure my bag was packed right, I had everything I needed, and it was properly handled, AND SHE WAS STILL ALL SMILES!!! That's great service right there! I will definitely be back to show her my monetary appreciation. She is wonderful! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
