After sitting @ the S. Cooper location for 30 minutes & no waitress, server, team lead or manager came to our table. We walked in the Grand Prairie location greeted by a big hello & welcoming. We were seated & told the name of your Server, who in fact did come within a timely manner. She came with a welcoming smile & a professional demeanor while exhibiting relatability. Not only did our Server continuously circle back to us, the Hostess did the same. That is quality customer service. They have a hell of a leadership team in Grand Prairie location. Your team is awesome!!!!!!! Please give them their flowers!! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A welcome transformation has taken place at this Applebee’s. On my last visit years ago—under then-general manager Kent (that was the name on the building at the front door), a large gentleman with glasses—I swore I would never return. The place operated more like a rowdy slum bar than a family restaurant: constant screaming and cursing at the bar, patrons pounding on the bar and slapping the bar top, screaming for the bartender to crank the already obnoxiously loud music even louder, obvious overserving, and an overall atmosphere so hostile it felt like an asylum. Management seemed content to let the lunatics run it, while disgusted families walked out and questionable activity lingered in the parking lot as I watched multiple people exit, go outside and then return after about 20 minutes, seemingly and suddenly sober. Returning recently after a long hiatus, I was pleasantly surprised. The shift is dramatic. The crowd is no longer loud and obnoxious. The dining room is now quiet and genuinely family-friendly, the kind of place a traveler can actually relax in, which is refreshing for me. Manager Ashley was warm, attentive, and welcoming from the moment I walked in and covered for the bartender if he was helping others in the back or throughout the restaurant (he was delivering food). There is a much stronger team dynamic than what I observed on my last visit. Even the same bartender from my previous visits appeared far more relaxed and in control. My dinner was well-prepared, and I comfortably lingered for over an hour—an impossibility on past trips to this once chaotic place. It’s refreshing to see Applebee’s reclaim the space for civilized dining. The improvements are noticeable and appreciated. I’ll gladly return on future visits, unless they start allowing the same crowd to return. I will gladly share my experiences here throughout my many travels. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had the pleasure of visiting Applebee's Grill + Bar with friends and family and had a pleasant experience. As we were driving up we noticed four handicapped parking spots and they were located in front of the building close to the main entrance. After walking in we were seated within two minutes and the table we were seated at was clean. We received our menus after we were and placed our orders. We had Blackened Salmon which was decent. We do not recall music playing, just people talking and clacking of utensils on plates. Our server was polite and professional. "Our Purpose Is Your Blessing". Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
