Very unhappy with our last couple experiences with this Applebees.. we had dinner here a couple of weeks ago and I had ordered a ribeye (medium rare) and my wife ordered a 6oz sirloin (medium rare). My ribeye ended up well done and her sirloin was rare. Almost bleu. But we ate it and enjoyed our time. Wasn’t a massive deal. Well we decided to have a little date night at home tonight and we ordered the same thing. I got a ribeye (medium rare) and she ordered a sirloin (medium) we decided on medium since hers was so rare last time just to aim on the safe side. Well we get home and my ribeye is well done. Still edible but well done. I cut her sirloin and it is raw. Not rare. Not bleu. RAW. So I call and talk to the manager. I was given options, make a new steak now, make one later or get a refund. Well we still want to eat. So we decide to have one re made. Person on the phone was friendly and reassured everything would be taken care of immediately. And I asked for them to make sure it is cooked to medium just to be sure and he agreed that it would be checked for temp. Perfect. I head back down (10 minute drive or so) and it takes a few minutes for someone to help me but they have some other customers being taken care of. Not a massive deal. Someone comes up and asks if I’ve been helped. And I say I’m here to pick up my order I’m having remade. He goes to check on it and it still hasn’t started cooking. I wait for 5-10 more minutes and I hear my order being called out to start cooking. Then another 10 minutes to make the order. By the time I gotten my food it had been almost 40 minutes since I called. I take it home open the box and the sirloin we got is about half the size of a 6oz sirloin. Not even that. I cut it. And it’s WELL DONE. We cannot for the life of us get a decent steak from here. Chef doesn’t know how to temp steak. Very very unfortunate. Wife didn’t even eat the sirloin. Don’t blame her. Very crummy ending to what could have been a nice date night. Only rating 2 stars for the effort of the guy on the phone trying to be considerate. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 1 Service: 3

Extremely loud. Fantastic service. Appetizers were good. The bourbon mushroom chicken was not great. Chicken was not browned, only had three mushrooms, to many onions and no sauce. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

Did a pickup order for my birthday & splurged for the ribeye steak. What I got was some badly overcooked vegetables & a slab of fat & gristle w/ a small amount of meat attached. To make it worse, they never brought my food out to my car as promised-I had to go inside to pick it up when it never showed. FYI-the place was almost empty, so no excuses.
