Worst Applebees experience I've ever had and I didn't think it could get worse than the last time I ate at this same Applebee's. I ordered the new grilled cheese burger w/tomato soup. I now know you can ruin a grilled cheese sandwich. The bread was cake and dripping some kind of fake butter but still barely warm. The cheese was not even melted and whatever sauce was supposed to be on it was missing. The soup was awful and had a strong basil aftertaste but was still needed to choke down the cold dry burger. To finish the meal off were cold fries. In case you think it was just my order, we also got a whiskey burger with no BBQ sauce and the wrong cheese and a reg. burger. All the fries were cold or barely warm and both burgers were ordered medium well but were cooked until you could taste the burnt flavor. My cocktail was good and the waitress was nice. I would have expected but in a restaurant with maybe 7 other guests total. We will never eat here again even if it is one of the only non fast food restaurants in the town. Hardly got any sauce on my chicken wings, looked nothing as advertised, dry as hell, we wish we have gone to the new Asian Buffet & Sushi instead we paid just about the same price there but more food and high quality service. Not to mention we waited long time here just to get a drip of sauce , the sauce tasted to salty as well it was supposed to be extra spicy buffalo and all i could taste was salt, i couldnt enjoy my meal. My husband couldnt even order a alcholic drink because they wouldnt accept his paper temporary renewal ID despite him having a beard, we came to applebees for the drinks but if we would have known we would have been better off going to the buffet , we deeply regret coming here.
