We sat there for a good 10 minutes or so before someone came and got our drink order they weren’t very busy I understand it’s Father’s Day but we ordered water and instead got an unsweet tea I’m a server my self so I know that times and be rough in a restaurant but it should not take 20 minutes to come back and check on your table to see if we were ready to order. Didn’t get the servers name either. Meal type: Dinner Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

I'm truly shocked at my experience at this location. We arrived (2 hours before close) and all was well. The server was outgoing and kind, and seemed interested in making our night enjoyable. We ordered an appetizer immediately, as well as drinks ( to be transparent it was spinach artichoke dip, which in case you don't know is pre-made and consists of scooping it out into a bowl and serving with chips). We then waited..................... and waited............ then got our drinks, she tells us she "asked the kitchen" about the appetizer and so we waited some more............ and waited. When we finally received our appetizer after over 20+ minutes after ordering; our entree order for one of us was then taken (because I said I wanted to wait, because I knew he would eat more and faster than me). He ordered the All you can eat basket, which can be wings/riblets/shrimp. And then, could you guess, we waited. And without the written implications that I'm sure at this point you can assume, we waited a LONG time. At this point I'm still calm. My partner then receives his food after waiting for an unacceptable amount of time. To where his WET wings were DRY. I filmed myself touching them and they left no sauce on my finger whatsoever. This alone speaks to how long they sat in the window waiting to be delivered to the table while she was off doing what not. As soon as his plate was FINALLY delivered, He immediately placed his next order of wings before she even left the table. In the meantime of us WAITING AGAIN, she did deliver a drink that I had asked for, as well as a ToGo order that I had placed at the same time of him ordering his food. At this point, this was a long time to wait for a drink let alone another set of BONELESS wings. Especially delivering my food without his ANYWHERE IN THE REALM OF EXISTENCE. So I asked her, where is my partners food? She looked SHOCKED, and lied to us as she frantically went to "go check on it". That order didn't arrive until under 7 minutes of them closing (1am). AGAIN another Massive amount of waiting time later. In total: We received 2 plates of food in over an hour and 45 minutes. To be frank, I'm not even mentioning the drinks/lack of service/overall care in this review! I requested to speak to a manager (Keep in mind, the waitress at this point NEVER CAME BACK TO THE TABLE. I NEVER ADDRESSED HER ABOUT MY CONCERNS. I never was even rude to her. Her not coming back proved only that she knew, she messed up.). When the manager came forward, he told me "the kitchen was backed up" (the restaurant was empty). Our waitress had 2 tables... total. The bar was drinking, exclusively. And I saw 1 ToGo order the entire time. But yet, they were "slammed". He then offered me $2 off my food, to make up for the inconvenience. Keep in mind my partner has yet to even eat his 2nd plate of All You Can Eat. He refused to take any accountability, didn't apologize whatsoever, and insinuated that I came in later than I did. He went and printed out when the orders were placed to argue with me. I understand standing by your staff, but THIS MANAGER has NO INTEREST in hearing anything a customer has to say. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE. Food is not worth it. Prices are too high. Cleanliness is lacking. Service is Horrendous. Also, I love how I specifically asked if I'm going to get less food because I order it ToGo and was told no... but yet you look at ANY PHOTO of the exact food I got, and it's less. Class act. This establishment is nothing but a Class act. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Vegetarian options: No clearly detailed vegetarian options.

Visiting my sister from out of town & decided on Applebees as a later dinner. And I’m so glad we did, customer service was top notch- Chris was our server and was one of the best we’ve experienced across the board when visiting in Tyler. My husband loves to make jokes & Chris’s personality made our dinner better!! He was so kind & patient with our kids & our large table. Food was delicious!! And every other employee we encountered tonight was very polite. Restaurant was clean. All around a great Applebee’s!! 5/5 - Thanks Chris for making our night. God bless you brother!!
