A wonderful experience from start to finish! Beautiful, stylish and spotless accommodation, excellent wines and stunning surroundings. The wine tasting was exceptional, with a great story behind every wine, and the restaurant was simply outstanding - wonderful play of flavours. THAYA is definitely a place we will be happy to return to. Highly recommended! Service: 4

Beautifully designed modern hotel surrounded by vineyards. We stayed in one of those wine-cellar rooms with a vaulted ceiling that looks like something from the Shire. The room was spacious, simply but nicely decorated and had a small outdoor patio at the back. We revived a bottle of their wine on arrival, and you can buy more at the reception. The restaurant was very good, but the service was a bit lacklustre - don’t expect to be served with a smile (or warmth). It was closed on our first night, but we were offered a cold grazing plate; it wasn’t exactly dinner-sized for two people, but it was nice enough. The wellness area was nice, but we were only able to use it once. It needs to be booked in advance, so we weren’t able to use it on the day of our arrival. On the third day, the sauna and whirlpool were both out of order, which was disappointing, as we had returned early from our trip to use them, but no one bothered to tell us until we told reception that the wellness area was locked. They had our booking and phone numbers, so I can’t see why no one contacted us. But aside from the service, the room was nice, the location was good, and the wine was even better. Service: 3

Such a beautiful place. The facilities design is super unique, the winery building, rooms and restaurant are all super interesting. From arrival to departure the service was amazing. The food and wine was spectacular. We tried all of the starters, all were delicious. The steak was huge and cooked perfectly and the butter was to die for. The grounds are very peaceful, and there’s nice hiking nearby that’s just a short walk from the rooms. Service: 5
