1. They always don't have enough change for your large bills. You are forced to come back later for your change without a receipt or any acknowledgement that you left your money with them.
2. I caught them recycling food from yesterday/reserving old batches of food. It is clearly seen in the quality of the food that it was not freshly made like the cucumber salad that has turned soft and pale due to overmarination in the vinegar. Other recycled/reserved foods include their fried chicken, lumpia and kikiam that all have turned soft instead of crunchy, sometimes even cold.
3. Flies are allowed to land on the food, the servers don't care if there are bugs swimming in their food.
4. I ordered "Grilled pork and a half rice". The server clarified about my order of "half rice", I said yes then she proceeded to serve me half empty serving of the grilled pork for the same overprice of 50 pesos.
I, along with many customers, were once very impressed with Apurado's food when it first opened. They used to serve freshly fried chicken at different price ranges that were affordable to students. They have gravely increased prices, and decreased in quality over the past year they have opened. Their stall has become so dirty that even the sidewalk behind them has turned black due to their constant throwing of liquids and their extension smells like trash that hasnt been emptied in days. With all this, I still believe that they can earn back their reputation of being a good eatery. There is still room for improvement.
