One of the best small cafes you can try .Pretty cool special menu ( they have new specials per week ) and they have a really cool chicken Shawrma sandwich .One of the best and strongest Turkish coffees you can have as well .

I was actually at MAPS because I wanted to try Jawhara Cafe, but for whatever reason, it was closed despite their hours on Google saying they were open. The woman next door who runs Arabisk Cafe tried so hard to help me, telling me that they should be open by 5 PM. She even gave me a basbousa for my trouble, even though 1. I wasn't actually there for her cafe and 2. she wasn't even open yet! Naturally, when I came back at 5 and saw that Jawhara was still closed, I walked 5 steps over to Arabisk and ordered her chicken shawarma. It's delicious and just the right texture for me! I'm not the sort that demands "melt in your mouth" tenderness from meat, so this chicken had a nice amount of bite to it, while still retaining moisture and covered in good seasoning. I'll be back, especially if Jawhara is mysteriously closed the next time I'm at MAPS :) Edit: I forgot to mention that the basbousa was also very good. Sweet, but not too sweet, and a nice texture to the cake!

We were visiting the mosque and had such a wonderful experience at the cafe. They were extremely kind and attentive and the food was excellent. Definitely worth a visit!
