We made our booking in Agoda and when we arrived the hotel didn’t have the rooms we had already booked. They offered us triple rooms instead of doubles. Although we had already paid they made us pay again the next morning and never gave us a receipt. They basically charged us twice for something we didn’t enjoy. Rooms are good but breakfast it’s pretty awful.

How did it get SO expensive? Did they just double their rates in the last few months? I know not long ago I paid about half of what they charge now so yes there was a BIG jump. The place is usually empty too. Guess they make all their money with the occasional Chinese tour group who will pay way too much.

The hotel boasts a riverside location, which many guests appreciate for the views and atmosphere. Some rooms offer direct river views, which are particularly recommended
