I called the bar to ask a simple question and was surprised by how rude and aggressive the manager sounded on the phone. I was polite and just looking for some information, but her tone made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Because of that interaction, I decided not to visit the bar at all. It’s disappointing, because I had heard good things and on a caravan holiday, I live in southend so was looking forward to going. I hope management takes this kind of feedback seriously no manners bad mind crawsis gal

Lovely peaceful cafe on the harbour. Best scrambled egg on toast in the region. Great coffee. Dog friendly, mine knows where the biscuit tin is!

We had a fab evening at the Arch Bar. Two of our group stupidly never took a jacket or hoodie as it had been hot during the day. We found this bar and they were so lovely. We was sat on a table right by the heater which they put on straight away. They also gave us some blankets too. Really lovely staff. Will definitely recommend and will visit again very soon. Oh and wow such an amazing Gin choice my favorite Strawberry & Cream yum yum.
