Archers in Centerville is one of the closest restaurants to our home. This makes them an obvious possibility when meal times come around. However, something is seriously wrong at this location. This is NOT the first round of issues that were SO bad, we left before being greeted by a server. Tonight, we walked in around 8pm. Sure, the restaurant was busy but nothing like we haven't seen before. In front of us in the lobby area we're 3 other families waiting to be seated. The host was NOT greeting anyone as they came in, he would ask how many of one group, then walk away to go look around the restaurant, to come back and seat JUST that group. After about 20 minutes he finally spoke to us and asked. "How many?" That's it. Nothing else. Regardless, we are seated at the nearest booth to the door. We then wait an ADDITIONAL 25 MINUTES while PLENTY of staff walk past us, yet not a single one said a single word. After realizing that the owners of Archers as well as the employees don't like money, as this is evident by the COMPLETE lack of service whatsoever, we decided to gather our things and cut our losses. Having spent over an hour in the restaurant without even being greeted. Again, this is NOT the first time something like this has happened. It surely won't be the last. It will, however, be the last time it happens to us. When they want to make money, the place can be great! I'm just not going to take that chance anymore.
