This place was not our first choice on this past Sunday's afternoon, but the place down the street had a 90min wait. This place also had burgers, which at least one of us wanted and the menu was full of good looking things to order. When we walked in, there was no one table occupied, not one... So, with it being COVID times, we thought that as a blessing. The waiter was great; nice, helpful, attentive... The drinks were OK, but the wife was disappointed in the lackluster of minimal adornments on her Bloody Mary. The food was junk. Well, if you are used to eating fresh food, this was totally junk. Wings were barely coated in the sauce of choice and were bland. The few onion rings that come in an order, were of a frozen product cooked in fryer oil that seen a better day. My Ruben was OK, but I gave it up to my wife because her burger was inedible. She refused to eat the wings based on their appearance and our comments and one onion ring was more than she wanted of those. Well, I tried to eat the grey colored "medium rare" burger and the texture was terrible, the taste was terrible and the bun fell apart anyway. More frozen, cheap product. That was a waste. Many places have closed down along this U-Del strip; maybe we'd be better off if Arenas was one of them.

Love RB location and have never, ever been disappointed. However, Newark...where do I start? Understaffed and impersonal waitress. I think our presence was an inconvenience in her life. Burger was well done, not medium rare. We ordered chicken wings and got 7 tasteless, overcooked, hummingbird wings for $10. They come with a topping of Sysco wipes (could they not place them on the food? Turkey club bread was burned. Lots of bacon. Measly slice of slimy turkey. Wilted lettuce with one unripe grape tomato slice per half. The bag of Herrs potato chips was perfect. Oh, beer was warm.
We don't send back...we don't go back.
Walked out and went to Catherine Rooney's down the block for cold beer, juicy burger and great wings for our 'real' dinner. WTH Arena's Newark? Major disappointment.
