First time trying Colombian food and it was amazing. I got the papas rellenos which were so good we ordered some to go. Everyone enjoyed their meal, the tacos arepas were delicious and their steak was so tender. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My first time and I will definitely go back. The food was fresh, hot and tasteful. They should allow multiple choices of meats to allow you to determine what you do or don't like before you commit to a full dish of one thing. recently visited Arepa George in Humboldt Park and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. When you go to a place that specializes in arepas, you expect that to be the highlight of the meal. Sadly, the arepa I received tasted stale and lacked flavor, which was surprising considering it’s the main thing they’re known for. The ingredients inside were decent, but the arepa itself really brought the whole dish down. It felt dry and not freshly made, which made the overall meal pretty underwhelming. The staff and location were fine, but the food just didn’t live up to the expectations. Hopefully this was just an off day, but based on this visit (which was my first btw) I can’t say it’s somewhere I’d rush back to. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
